ROCKLAND COUNTY BOARD OF VOLLEYBALL OFFICIALS, Inc.
The Rockland County Board of Volleyball Officials, Inc. is a member in good standing with the New York State Certified Volleyball Officials Association (NYSCVOA), with representation by a boys volleyball chapter and a girls volleyball chapter. Through our membership in NYSCVOA, we are also associated with the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA). We adhere to the NYSPHSAA Five Point Program.
We provide officiating services to BOCES, Section One, in both boys and girls volleyball. Section One includes Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Dutchess counties. BOCES, as official assignor, expects officials to keep availability up-to-date, even if we have no changes. Online officials should go to the RefView website, log in, go to availability and review your calendar for the season you will be officiating. Make all necessary updates and submit.
We hold annual clinics designed to train interested people to become officials, line judges and scorekeepers. Clinics are also held to aid current official members to strengthen their skills, refresh knowledge of rules and improve overall ability. Clinic information is provided elsewhere on this website.
